Another Coffee Break first began to be published in January of 2005 from Mission, Texas by Regner Capener as a daily column, substituting for Warren “Bones” Bonesteel’s “Morning Coffee.” The column was originally envisioned as a fill-in or occasional substitute when Bones needed a break from the daily routine.
The initial response to the column, however, far surpassed anyone’s wildest expectations, and before the end of the first month there were more than 30,000 readers. In just over two years of publishing, readership climbed to more than 500,000 in 80-plus countries; and new subscribers are being added weekly.
With the Capener family’s move to Sunnyside, Washington in January of 2006 for the purpose of establishing a 24 hour praise and worship ministry through River Worship Center the schedule of activities forced a reduction from daily publication to once or twice a week.
Another Coffee Break is a relaxed, around-the-table means of sharing personal experiences gained through more than 60 years of walking with the Lord Jesus Christ, along with a prophetic perspective of what God is saying to His people in this final generation prior to the return of Jesus Christ.
